On Fridays we normally have bacon toast at work, see Friday Bacon Post, however, last Friday we thought it was time for a change so I picked up breakfast form Leon on Regent Street.
I had the Classic New York Breakfast, salmon on rye bread with cream cheese, pictured above.
The strange thing was that it was warm by the time that I got to work. I do not really understand how a sandwich can get warm from being transported outside in the current weather, so it has to have been because of the fridge at Leon.
As smoked salmon is a dish best served cold, I was not too happy with the sandwich, although you could tell that it would have been delicious if it only would have been served cold enough.
