A Swiss friend of mine was over in London for business, so a small get together with dinner and drinks was arranged in his honour. The restaurant of choice for the evening was Pizza East, which is located in the Tea Building. Although it seems as if most people tend to love Pizza East, I’m not too impressed by their pizzas. I had the Veal Meatball Pizza (£10). The pizzas are good, however, in my opinion, the pizzas from nearby Story Deli just off Brick Lane are much better. One big advantage with Pizza East is the size of the venue, as it is fairly easy to get a table for a big group of people.
Overall verdict: great place for food if you are in a big group, but there are several places around London that serve better pizza.

I would agree about the pizza. It is very good but not the best in london. I was however charmed by the wonderful cheese selection they have. The first time i went we sat at the bar to eat and we were able to talk to the 'cheese lad'. He was very knowledgeable and the cheese was so good we never ordered a pizza!
