Le Michelangelo is mainly Italian cuisine, but it's also influenced by French cuisine.
For my Bday last year, I went to Michelangelo and I had a tartare de crabe and a "Mamo" burger.
The tartare de crab was really excellent taste- and presentation-wise, the crab meat had a nice taste of fennel to it. The crab meat was for sure fresh and I could taste the sweetness of it. The crab tartare came in nicely decorated with small well-cut dices of colorful bell pepper, served with crema di balsamico and olive oil, sprinkled with a perfect amount of salt and pepper.
The Mamo burger was quite something. House made hamburger bread, burger and fries served foie gras instead of cheese and it had bacon slices on it fixed with grissini sticks. On top of that, fresh sliced black truffle and some green salad around it. - It was quite a creation (The ladies at the table next to us was so fascinated that she had to ask the waiter what it was). I didn't take any picture of it though. After all, it cost 41 euros, which is the most expensive burger I've had.
Don't order it if you have high blood pressure or high cholesterol. It was a bit too salty with all the bacon actually, I felt very thirsty afterwards.
(Sorry for not having real pictures of the food, next time I'll sneak up my mobile camera).
The waiters were very service-minded, they took our coats at arrival and dressed us with our coats as well when leaving. A lot of celebs have been there. In the entrance you can find tons of pictures with the Hollywood celebs posing with the chef. When I went to the ladies room to "powder my nose" I saw they only had two toilets. It then struck me - I've perhaps been to the same toilet as Beyonce or Angelina.
